c.) The mortgagee auction will not include chattels in the property
As the vendor’s warranties have been crossed out which include the chattels, the buyer of a property sold at a mortgagee auction is not guaranteed to have any chattels when they can move into the property. The list of normal chattels for a property are light fittings, stove, window coverings and floor coverings. The previous owner is within their rights to remove the chattels before settlement. There have been several high profile examples on the internet that you can check out where disgruntled owners have removed all the chattels from the property.
